More Vintage Cards and Cards With Bling!

5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Card base from Michaels, paper from Hobby Lobby, and handmade lace rosette with Prima flower.

Hi Everybody!  It was a cold day today outside, and with no plans to go out anywhere, I decided to make some more cards! In all of these cards, I used the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card base from Michaels.  I started out with vintage themed ones, and then I wanted to make some with the black, white and pink theme.  I was definitely feeling the creative mojo today!  Thanks for stopping by...

6x6 Vintage Style Card

Hi Everybody!  Here is another 6x6 card I made.  I love putting these together.  I used a doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs and cut from creme colored card stock.  I added some pearls from Michaels Recollections.  The bow was made using vintage lace and I added some Stickles to the rose cutout from the Graphic45 collection (Secret Garden).

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Happy Scrapping!  ~Evie ;)

Oscar Night Prima Doll

Hi Everybody!  In honor of the Oscars... I decided to make a Prima Doll Tag with a gown!  This is the largest stamp made by Julie Nutting for Prima.  I searched through my papers for the perfect 'gown'.  I found a beautiful sheet of paper from a paper pad purchased at Hobby Lobby, where the flowers appeared on the bottom - I liked the way it came out.

I added Stickles (Waterfall and Cotton Candy) and I also added some Distressed glitter.  I wanted to add some lace trim to the bottom that would match, so I spritzed some white trim with turquoise glitter spray.

I decided to add eyes to this doll too - I really like doing that.  I think from now on, all of my Prima dolls will have eyes.  :)

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Scrapping!

Prima Doll Tag - Paris Themed

Hi Everybody!  Above is a photo of a new Prima Doll Tag I made as a sample for a class I'm going to teach at a scrapbooking retreat next weekend.  I just love making these dolls - so much fun to dress them up and embellish with bling. :)  I decided to go with the Paris theme this time (my first).  That Eiffel Towel die is from the Tim Holtz Collection by Sizzix.  I totally scored on that die... it was on clearance at Hobby Lobby for only $3.14!  SCORE! :)

I used Prima flowers and added fatback pearls in the centers.  I finally gave my doll, eyes for the first time!  I kinda like it!

We're anticipating a major storm tomorrow into Monday so I plan on making some new cards tomorrow to weather out the storm. ;)  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Scrapping!  ~Evie ;)

I Received my Prima Doll Tags From My Swap!!!

Prima Doll Tag made by Tmika, here, at Scrapdaworld - She also made the coordinating box!  The instructions for the box can be found here, by Bona at LiveLoveScrap

 Hi Everybody!

Last weekend, I received my Prima Doll Tags from the swap hosted by Tmika at YouTube Channel: Scrapdaworld.  I was part of Bottle Cap Group 4.  I was so excited to see these beautiful tags!!  Above and below are the ones made by Tmika herself.  Look how gorgeous this tag is! Each of our tags had to include an embellished bottle cap charm with dangles.  This was a fun swap to be in.  Each of these girls are so talented - I feel blessed to have been part of this swap group!

Love the pearl swirls and love the pearl trim she used at the bottom

Here's the embellished bottle cap charm she made - it has a beautiful fan on the end!

This beautiful tag was made by Letty at Mylittlesweetpeaz

Letty used acrylic flowers mixed in with the paper ones - just gorgeous!

I love her Copic coloring abilities - I hope to be able to learn how to do that too!  She also used a black Pearl Pen to add accents to her dress for dimension.

Here's the bottle cap charm and dangles she made.  She added a mini doily in between the two images - LOVE IT!  She added an umbrella charm too.

This is the bag she put the tag in - absolutely beautiful!  She handmade this bag!!  Look at the trim and the image she used... I'm in love!! :)

Here's a closeup of the image - she's a ballerina!! :)

Here's a closeup of the gorgeous trim.

This beautiful tag was made by Chaun Lee, and here's the link to her video on YouTube: Chaun Lee
I love the colors she used!  When I used to own my own scrapbooking business, lime green was my favorite color, used  for our booths and shirts we wore!  She also accented the doll's dress with a Pearl Pen - I must try that!

She added a handcrocheted flower at the bottom, along with some bling trim.

Here is the bottle cap charm that Chaun Lee embellished.  Love the dangles, the image, the flowers she added (I would've never thought that!)

Hope you enjoyed seeing these beautiful tags and that you will click on the links to check out their channels - these are wonderfully talented ladies!!  They have tons more of gorgeous creativity to share - you'll truly enjoy viewing their channels.

Thanks so much for stopping by and looking!

Happy Scrapping!!
